"In the midst of multiple crisis, in the midst of wars, that continue and harm international cohesion, in the midst of asymmetrical crises, in the midst of the climate crisis and in the midst of hybrid threats, it is time to review the basis on which the international security architecture has been created" stated Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis in a statement upon his arrival for the informal meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers on Thursday.
“Greece is in favour of strengthening collective defence capability and synchronising the pace between the European Union and NATO,” he said.
“Only by working through modern steps, through common capabilities, through expanded defence systems, will we be able to deal with the global crisis, which is currently underway, every day and with a new focus of tension”, Gerapetritis added.
